受賞コメントO-POWER Culture and Art Center is located in Shenzhen, China, converted from the former Shenzhen Huazhong Power Plant. Huazhong Power Plant was built in the late 1980s and had brought light to the entire OCT area and witnessed the rise of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone.
The rich pipeline image of the former power plant is used to express the imagery of "transferring energy", which is the material energy represented by electricity on the one hand, and the spiritual energy emerging from the background of urban development on the other. The renovation of old pipes and instruments is used to tell the core concept of the continuation of civilization from generation to generation.（Ling Xi,Che Liang）
